Rhode Island Red Auction Price Help

I plan on going to a local auction soon in the search for a few rhode island red hens. I've never been to an auction and I was curious as to what is a good price range your young rhode island red hens. I want them to be around 4 to 6 months as to not have a large age difference from my own hen. Any help?

I paid 4$ each for mine at 10 weeks. I don't know if it was a great price or not though.
