I didn't see any pointy hackle or start of saddles either. Nothing telling in tail either. Nor does it seem to have the upright rooster stance. Hens get the wattles at 9 weeks so that's right. Our production reds, hatchery RIR, had large combs early too. I'd hold judgement.
