So I'm pretty new to actually owning chickens, and I now have three. Two from a close friend, and a third from someone at work. Each had their reasons for giving them up. Anywho, I know the two from my friend are roughly 6-8 week old females, just don't know what breed they're a mix of. As for the third, it's either a Rhode Island Red or mix of that, between 8-10 weeks, just don't know the gender. Help please? =]

Edit: Ok, so I was just speaking to my friend who said the pullets are not actually mixes but red comets. They're also between 6-7 weeks old now. I know she told me this before, but I completely forgot... ^^;;;;;

The other 2 are mixes and they do have pretty big combs for 6-8 weeks. The RIR is for sure a young cockerel.

I've been thinking it's a roo, but I also have experiened people telling me they think otherwise.
I could be wrong on the age of the two pullets though. I can't remember exactly how old. I'll have to ask my friend again. She raised them from just a few days. They're super friendly and social - no fuss if you pick them up, and if you pick up one, the other flies up too!

Well, the comets are pullets. They're a sex link breed, so the reddish/goldish color means hen.
The Red bird is a boy.

The first two pullets are sexlinks And the roo is either a production red, or new hampshire, got any close ups of him?

And then again it could be a HQ RIR
