So About A little over a month a ago I bought a few young birds. Being told there were reds. These are the first birds i have owned So Im not perfect and knowing that they are foor sure, and i can see a few differences.. can anyone shoot me there opinion? It would be very much appreciated..!

They are Production Reds the hatchery version of a Rhode Island Red. PRs lay better than RIRs, true RIR adults are a deep mahogany color a quite fascinating color.

They look like hatchery quality Rhode Island Reds, or Production Reds. Production Reds are crosses of various "red" breeds.

Thanks guy.. So does that mean they will lay as good as rhode island reds? Or worse?

Production Reds lay better than Rhode Island Reds, they are supposedly crossed with a New Hampshire Red and a RIR but many hatcheries mix in Leghorns which can explain why their egg production is increased.
