Rhode Island Red - Rooster or not?

Usual age to process is 18-20 weeks, so they're coming up on prime dinner time. You can try posting on craigslist, etc but really, no one wants excess roosters. If you're willing to eat them, or know someone who is, that's the better way to go.
 
or find someone who wants him for breeding, and showing! he looks real nice for his age. nice bright yellow shanks, real good bright red comb. nice dark horn red color on his feathers. looks nice! where did you get him?
 
We got him as a chick from our local City Farm store here in Portland, OR

Well, it looks like we might make some dinner out of him.

It sure is hard to come to grips with saying goodbye to one of the first chickens I have raised since I was younger.

Buckles will be missed.
