Rhode Island Red Rooster trying to mate my Ancona Duck

I have a RIR Rooster that is trying to mate with one of my female Ancona Ducks. He always picks on the one, and is tearing up her head. She has a raw line of missing feathers from the top of her head down her neck about 6 inches. How do I get him to stop? She tries to run from him and generally avoids him, but she is not as fast as he is. I chase him away from her whenever I catch him running after her, but I can't spend the whole day babysitting (or duck sitting).

The only solution is to separate them or get rid of either the rooster or the duck.
