Rhode Island Red rooster with ten points on his comb

My 3/4 year old RIR roo has ten points on his comb and I can't figure out why. He is a bit smaller than my other RIR roos, but he's the loudest! I think that he might be a runt.......

He has HUGE wattles!

he is probably a comercial stock rir does he have really really dark colors... the real ones usually do have dark colors.

No, he doesn't have dark colors, but the funny thing is that they keep getting darker. He is not at all docile.

Breeding and Genetics play a major role in more or less points. Are you counting the Blade as a Point?

Here he is. I suppose he only has eight points but that is still a bit peculiar, don't you think?

I count 9 and thats with the blade,but 8 and the blade is sensational!! congrats!!!

I think it is sensational.I wouldnt mind a bird with that many points.It was a compliment.if you want I can retract it??
