I have 2 reds they are going on 8 months old and still no eggs... any recommendations? They are in a coop with a silky bantam and she is laying every day.. help!!

Any chance you could post a picture of them?

We might be able to make an educated guess at when they will start laying, going by comb and wattle colour etc.

Can I also ask what are you feeding them?

And finally, not that I doubt you, but are you 100% sure they ARE girls?

8 months is getting late for RIR's - not impossible of course, but unusual.

Hopefully with a bit more information we will be able to help you come up with something

I feed them Layer Feed. And fruits & veggies for treats..
I assume they are female.. I have a rooster with them and they dont fight. The silky I got at the same time and shes been laying for a few weeks now.
