OZexpat is the man to ask about chickens, and other livestock in the Philippines. He is a frequent poster on the Old Folks thread - you could find him there and send him a pm with your questions. He is very knowledgeable and a very nice person to boot. Welcome to Backyard chickens.

X2 for contacting OZexpat...if you get on his thread "Getting the flock outta here" you will see his adventures...be prepared to read ALOT! He is also shipping chickens throughout the Philippines that he has hatched from eggs brought from the US and I believe he has some RIR but not positive. If not, he has many different breeds that you prob cant find anywhere else in the PI. Im living in the PI also but fortunately, not doing the chicken drama as of yet. Im still working/preparing the farm back home in the USA. Good luck with the search and welcome the the BYC flock.
