rhode island reds not laying yet at eleven months old

out of the 10 i got as 14 week olds 4 of them havent layed yet . they are almost 11 months old now. they came from the same hatchery . the 4 that arent laying i noticed still have smaller combs and waddles. wondering if they could be late egg layers or if they will lay at all.

Are you sure their not hiding them.mine did a good job hiding them and in one day
I found 18 eggs I only have 8 hens.

It is very strange for RIRs of this age not to be laying.

Have you wormed them, checked them for parasites etc.? What are you giving them to eat?

If you can, post pictures so that their general condition can be assessed.

I am sure that they will eventually get there with a bit of 'fine tuning'.
