Yup that’s a cockerel. Vent sexing isn’t an exact art. It’s about 90-95% accurate.

yep I think in my short time of chicken framing I can say that is a roo !! see how he is watching over the hen. it will not be long before he does the rooster dance and then mounts her

They are mean. I tried every trick in the book on my male and he only liked me. So it was real hard when we went away. The first girl was good, she knew how to handle him. Then she went away to college. The second girl was scared to death of him, and he knew it.
