Rhode Island Reds?

Hi all. We picked up three RIRs about a week ago. They were straight run and I am hoping at least one of them is a pullet. I am concerned at least one might be a roo. Thoughts? Also, I am thinking these might be something other than RIRs since we have had them in the past and the coloring was nothing like these (hopefully) girls. In the pictures, there is one that is mostly golden, a dark one
and one that is redder around the neck and dark down the back.

They look like mixed breeds to me.

The mostly golden one with black flecks looks like a rooster
The darker golden/red one with the pattern on its back looks like a pullet
and the very dark one looks like a pullet also

Is your weather cold? I only ask because their hunched up appearance caught my eye, but if its cold where you are it might not be a concern.

I am thinking mixed also, and I was also thinking the golden one was a male. It is a little chilly here this morning, about 45 degrees.

The dark one looks like our golden wyndotte when she was a pullet. The red ones look like RIR pullets to me.

You birds will no doubt make you very happy. Enjoy them. It is likely they are mixed.
