My Coop
I have a new coop and new birds. The coop is situated in the middle of my garden beds. One of the garden beds has rhubarb that will be coming up in the spring. I know that people cannot eat the leaves, but can chickens eat them? Do they know enough not to? If it poses a risk, I will dig it up and get rid of it before anything happens.
Thanks!

Chickens love the leaves of rhubarb. Not so much the stalks. It wont hurt them at all to eat it. They will strip your leaves and then it will probably die off. If you want it for yourself you should move it. Otherwise they chickens will think it is for their dinning pleasure!

Edited to add: When we pick rhubarb the chickens get the leaves as treats!!
