Rice Krispie treats

Has anyone ever used cookie cutters to shape treats? How did that work?

I cook a lot but I don't make rice krispie treats, so any advice or helpful hints would be much appreciated.

I did a long time ago when my kids were young. Make them not too thick and metal cutters worked much better than plastic ones.

Also, on using metal cookie cutters...I spray with cooking spray and I put a piece of wood or a book on top so I have leverege to push the cutter down more easily.

I was going to suggest dipping the cutters in butter, but the cooking spray sounds much easier
