Well I've seen a lot of discussion here about predators.
Some want to trap and relocate.
Bad idea thats just a problem for someone else.
Some want to trap and drown, poison and torture or teach them a lesson so to speak. (Oh yes I've seen it on this site)
Bad idea with the exception of dogs and ferrets and weasels and the like, most predators are just trying to make a living. They do not understand your logic and will not appreciate the lesson. They will be back as long as there is food available.
Some want to trap and turn the culprits over to the animal control in their area.
If you cannot handle the problem this may be the most humane and easiest way. Check to see how they deal with pests. you may find it interesting.
Some want to handle the problem themselves with the use of firearms. Yes, I include myself in this catagory, but that is not what this is all about. Sometimes especially for you city dwellers, felons and aliens this is not an option. (I am not casting dispersions on anyone) Unless you have the (and I stress this) ability , this may be a nasty mess with screaming and torment, and animals crawling off to die a painfull death. But after reading some of the "get even posts", Sometimes I feel that is the point . Sorry I regress.
Find someone in your neighborhood that can handle a firearm, they are there believe me, they do not advertise but will be glad to help if asked.
Someone trained in the use of a rifle or pistol or even a shotgun is like a Vet with an injection. The animal will not even hear the shot that puts them away. And will not feel anymore pain than the needle that does the same thing. I know that this is not going to be universally accepted but it is a fact and if you think I am full of it ask someone you trust. Preferably not a anti-gun advocate. Firearms are what made this country a safe place to live and are what will keep it that way until Somthing better comes along.
Again I stress this is not for everyone. and I understand that for some it is scary and distastefull just as poisoning and drowning animals in a cage is for me.
So trap em if you must, rant if it makes you feel better, and give them to someone who can humanely dispose of them but please no torture ! That should be reserved for "people" that kill innocent non combatants for political or religious reasons. At least they will understand why.
