Ridge / Band on egg?

We have an Easter egger that most of the time layes normal looking eggs but now and than some of them have a ridge / band that goes around the egg (see photo). Is this normal, safe etc?

I got four ex-batts last Friday and today I got my first banded egg (also had one shell less egg two days ago) so this site was my first stop for information - many thanks Ridgerunner - I wont worry now
