Danny rode into the arena grinning when she saw all the barrels up. She began to trot Holly around the arena warming her up.

After a lap around the arena she loped Holly around it once more. She slowed Holly to a walk scratching her neck.

Perched on a stool to groom Calista, Therese addressed her horse, "So, this guy asked me out and I said no and he asked why. So I told him it was because he's an arrogant jerk who confused his brain with a football. And then he called me some names that I am not going to repeat and walked off. So Susan - that nice girl who mounted you like you were a haystack - said that I was blunt and could come off as rude. But I am so not blunt. Right?"

Calista gave her a look like, Well, yes, you are, actually.

"Fine, you go on a date with him and tell me if I was right. Fury, I'm not blunt, am I?"

Fury shook herself with a noise between a whinny and a snort.

Danny walked Holly in front of the clover leaf pattern. Holly's ears flickered when she saw the barrels in front of her. Danny gathered the reins in her hands to keep the mare from taking off. Holly snorted tossing her head. "Wait a minute," Danny muttered quietly to Holly. Holly snorted in response pawing the dirt. Danny used one hand to get some slack in the reins as Holly tossed her head once more. Danny smiled before gently nudging the mare, Holly shot forward making a bee line for the first barrel. Danny steered her to the pocket of the barrel. Holly spun around the barrel going a bit to wide for Danny's liking. Danny had to yank on the reins to straighten Holly outas she headed for the second barrel, the mare was heading straight for the next barrel. With a quick tug on the reins the mare made a slight movement to the side narrowly missing the barrel. They didn't get in the pocket space and ended up practically turning on the barrel, knocking it over in the process. Danny slapped Holly's shoulder with the slack in the split reins making the mare pick up speed towards the third barrel. Danny directed Holly towards the pocket Holly rounded the barrel in what Danny's definition would be called perfect. Danny spurred the mare giving her her head letting the mare shoot off. Once they finished the complete pattern Danny pulled back on the reins. Holly threw her feet forward coming to a dead stop.

Stormy walked over to the training rings, watching the others on their horses. She stayed quiet, simply watching.

Lyet grabbed Queens bridle and sadle andput them down. She then went to Queens stall and took her out. She groomed and saddled her. She let her to the arena were Lauren and Aristocrat were riding. She mounted and began troting around the arena to warm her up.
Lauren payed the other girl no heed. All her attention was focused on her horse; concentrating on her position, posting, and the steady beat of each footfall.
Aristocrat seemed to dance under saddle as he did what Lauren instructed, barely ever misplacing a hoof.

Danny rubbed Holly's neck smiling. "Good work girl. Holly lowered her head relaxing momentarily. Danny smiled and dismounted heading over to the second barrel Holly following close behind.

As she drew closer, Dakota raised her hand in a thumbs-up, knowing that yelling would spook the horses.
