Once Dakota had successfully saddled Honey, she led the mare out of the barn and to the mounting block.

The mare stood quietly chewing on her bit and looking around 

Dakota mounted the mare and nudged her heels gently at her side.

The mare jumped into a trot lifting her head excitedly

Dakota slacked the reins, enjoying the ride.

Marian couldn't help but smile. It felt like she was flying... in a way, she was. Even though the mare was a pain, she knew that she would enjoy riding this one.

Danny finished grooming Holly and went to the tack room grabbing a saddle pad and her barrel saddle.
