The buckskin mare stood at the fence, watching. She nickered and moved, following the fenceline until it turned, then trotting back.

Jess nodded and took the ropes off both the horses.

The colt bolted in the direction of the trailer the mare following close on his heels

The colt stopped dead a few feet from the trailer the mare slidding into him at the sidden stop nearly sending the both topling over
