I have been trying to find the "Right to Farm Act" of Texas, with no luck.
I don't know the bill number, so I haven't been able to locate it.

I know there are some members that are so good at locating this kind of stuff, could you help me out?

Thanks,
Jean

Because it is a private company that researches not only the text and related judicial rulings, but also the history and stated intents by key backers of the original bill, as well as later amendments.

I am sure that if you go to the official government website for Texas, you wiil be able to find the various state statutes online. To get written copies may cost sufficient to cover publication costs. I know it costs very little to purchas a CD/DVD of Arizona Statutes, but it is not inexpensive to get hard copy (of the entire set). However, you can download individual statutes as much as you wish at no charge.

I found it, it is not called "The Right to Farm Act", it is "The Right to Farm Law"

I needed it to show the city that the new nuisance laws they wanted to put in would not apply to farms within the citylimits. There was one person who said that cow manure should be cleaned up from pastures because it stinks worse than dog poop.

We live at the edge of a very small city, less than 1,000 people and it is spread out for miles, although there are a few sub-divisions located within the city limits who think that the farmer's pastures next to them should be regulated.

Thanks for the help, though.

Jean
