Another little knowledge nugget . . . if you have a finicky incubator and prefer a traditional hatch I suggest just using damp sponges/rags. It's a lot easier to pull the sponge/rag if the humidity gets too high, or quickly swap a wet sponge for a dry one if it gets too low.

As a matter of fact I have been doing that! I read it in your hatch along notes. 😄 Since my incubator goes from 30 (room) to 60 with almost any water, then quickly uses it up and drops back to 30, a slice of damp sponge has been the way i have been keeping it around 40.
