I'm telling you hit up Craigslist people are always tossing out pallets, old fence panels etc etc. Save that money for feed!

Hmm this is a good point. Currently our coop is made mostly from scraps in the yard when we moved or scrap wood from hubbies work. Wood is SO expensive! I may look up some Craigslist stuff.

Oh, also our beautiful broody Mocha is almost at day 14, I candled her eggs in the predawn Monday and they are all alive! All 12 showing veins and movement.

For all her death stare she has yet to actually peck me when I move them around and check on her, but wow does she growl!

Aww, you're giving me ideas. Like when one of my girlies goes broody I'll trade her eggs for some from a local farm that has a rooster. But then I remember I'd have to give them all away and I become sad and come back to Earth.
