Yes that black one i quite chunk! Its very timid do, so im hopefull for a pullet. I can never tell with chicks

Yes, sorry. Ill have to figure out how to check for mal-positioning. Its frustrating to think they may have made it if i had known to pip for them. They were both dorkings too! one of them even seemed to have gotten the receive genes and was somehow black and white, even though we only have red or white dorkings and red or white roos. It would have been quite fun

86.9% is definitely a great hatch rate! You did a fantastic job. Sometimes, it’s not anything you did/didn’t do, it’s just the way it works out.

Thank you. I know for my first hatch I should probably be happy lol. Either way hubby is extatic with my success. (I think he is think about how much that many chicks would cost lol)
