ring neck male Pheasant killing 8 week old chicks ????

In the last two weeks for no reason that i can see three of my now 8 week old chickens have been dead when I have gotten homefrom work in the afternoon. Will a fully grown but still young pheasant or his girl kill them?

It may very well be the ringneck that is killing your young chickens. What sort of physical damage are you seeing on the chickens?

nothing At first i was thinking there was a problem with the new ones so I would look them over in the am and pm. and all where good but i could be missing something. my older chickens 13 weeks are fine and all of them are in the same pen 8x24 feet

It's not the cockbird. If he was doing it, there would be feather losss, pecking and bleeding.
