Ring Necked Ducks?

Can I buy some somewhere? Saw them at the zoo (they were "wild" and all over the lakes with the mallards and coots) and I just LOVE LOVE LOVE them. But I don't know if there's a hatchery somewhere I can order? PLEASE tell me there is!

Do you have a pic? There are more than one breed of ducks with a ring around the neck.

e-fowl has ringed teal ducks and blue bills which look the same. Not sure if that helps.

Silly me, I thought you were trying to describe it. Those are gorgeous ducks, my gosh it makes me want a pair too.

I remember seeing them on a site when I was looking for wood ducks. I'll try to find that site and post it later.

You can get them at m&h farms sometimes mallard lane farms has them

Keep in mind that they are a native species so you will need permits depending on where you are located. They are also diving ducks so they will need more than a kiddie pool. We have a male that lost his mate a few years ago but he's been with us for 6 or 7 years. We had two pairs at one point they are very pretty birds but they are becoming harder to find for sale.
