Me too! IT's awesome down here. Except the heat. I've lived here here all my life, and i'm still not used to it!

I went to a rally today at the Brownsville courthouse, you might be aware of the issues, and yes the heat wore me out. I so hate seeing my country becoming what it is. I didn't fight it's wars for this. It was totally worth it but I agree the heat here is something else.

Our street flooded, we didn't, our house is elevated enough, luckily. The mosquitoes are so bad right now we can barely go outdoors. I had read the county was going to insecticide but they haven't done squat.
