These are my chickens that were eaten by the hawks! It was a sad day! But i have 4 suppose to hatch tomorrow!! Lets keep hopin that i will have 4 chicks by tomorrow night!!

Hawks seem to be prolific this year. Hang some CD's on strings or something like foil (shiny)fringe around the areas where your chickens hang out..it will help to discourage the hawks. We just lost four of ours to a hawk too including two favorites.

So sorry for your loss! Hawks are crazy right now - I don't know why. Winter and less food? Not sure, but 5 tried to get my rat terrier yesterday...
