I am actually incubating 5 eggs right now. On day 1! We found 6 eggs yesterday and I cracked check for fertility. One hen lays by the ac unit and my dog eats her eggs... so we were surprised to find so many in the base of a tree.

Our flock doesn’t use the coop... they like to sleep on the porch and recently started laying but they don’t lay where they sleep.

Is one chicken broody or are you using and incubator? You should start collecting some and join the NYD Hatch a long.

None of my hens are broody. Fuzz was so I’d let her sit on them when I collected them. Since she’s gone. I’m using an incubator.
