RIP Lil Bit

So my 6 yr old Silver Sebright hen passed away last night.

She didn’t seem to be felling very well when I last checked on everyone as they went to roost yesterday evening. She did go to sleep with everyone else but she was sluggish, a lil pale and very fluffed up. She never did take the cold very well and I have had to take her indoors at least once every winter to save her life (literally) but since it wasn’t all that cold yet I figured she would make it through the night… well I was wrong. I found her this morning on the floor all fluffed up, it looked like she had died in her sleep. So here I sit wishing I would have taken her inside last night oh well it is to late now at least she isn't cold anymore

I'm really sorry about your pretty little hen. She lived a good long life, though. Seems it was probably her time, so don't second guess yourself.
