Yes, Dr. MC was a great scientific researcher, the little secret behind his writing. I always learned a lot on seemingly tedious subjects by reading him, but in a very entertaining way. Hard to combine those two for most. I, too, appreciated his outlaw take on the global warming issue. Wasn't popular in many circles he moved in, but he didn't give a hoot. Did anybody "see" how much the one character in the book (an actor who played the president, I think) was a dead ringer for Martin Sheen? LOL
