Rip Mufasa

I can't wait till spring is here and the hawks move on about their business.i know they are just doing whats natural but ughhh.

Ive only ever noticed red tail hawks but i could be wrong. I will look up harris hawks. One was in the tree of my neighbor on the left and the other in my biggest tree at the back of my property, i only have 1 acre... I ran outside when I saw them yelling and hitting my rake on the fence and it didnt make them budge. I have all my runs fenced in but i think i need to invest in bird netting.
My experience has been they know we are here and they have no chance when we are vigilant. They won't try anything if you are around. Yes I can't wait until they move on either.

For sure I want them to quit overwintering in my back yard!

In that I had a Bird dog Chocolate Lab naturally Select me so I am lucky. Also my breed of birds can actually fly. I have yet to loose a one. It may happen before winter ends and if so I really hope it happens to my extra roos. Regardless let my dog see a hawk get within her reach and it will be grounded.

Well my neighbor is crazy... I really dont know why she woukd say "something got my fuzzy headed chicken and took only his head" becausr yesterday morning he was right there in my yard waiting for food like all the others... I dont think she knows how many chickens she really has... Really weird.
