Hi, I've got a chicken who is only 16 months old and has had the worst luck ever! First she got her comb caught in something and ripped the back half off. Since there was no open wound we could see or blood, we left her alone & she did fine. Until I noticed she was scratching her eye one day. We started putting medicine on her eye, but too late I guess. Her eye is cloudy & while she has vision, it is very poor. But she has adapted. Now I noticed the back half of her comb, the half ripped off her head, appears somewhat purple-ish. Is this something I should be worried about? I feel so bad for this chicken, all of the others are doing fine.
