I found one of my hens with a ripped open earlobe and blood all over their run from it. I'm pretty sure it was my rooster, since they're only a few months old, he's still learning how to mate and he's a bit clumsy and really rough with the girls, especially my girl who got hurt.
It's been bleeding quite a bit, and I can see the membrane inside from it being ripped open. I put Vetericyn on her earlobe, then neosporin, then some Pick-No-More lotion, but I'm not sure if I should separate her, or if I should cover her wound (and if so, with what), or take her to a vet... any advice would be much appreciated...

I had something similar happen. I used vetrycin and then applied blue kote. I didn't remove the hen because none of the others picked on her or the injury. I also didn't remove the cockerel because it only happened once and he didn't cause any other injuries or reinjure the hen.
