All of these girls we got from a lady off of craigslist, she said they we hatchery sexed as pullets. I took these pics about an half an hour ago, i just wanted to make sure everything is looking alright.

1st chick is a partridge rock. (Named Taco) It is eight weeks old.

2nd chick is a light brahma. It is seven weeks in the picture. I think it will be a roo. Due to its slow feathering and darker comb.

4th is a Easter Egger. It is six weeks. It didn't want a picture of its head taken, they are a little blurry.

The only one that looks suspicious is the light brahma. The chick has a seriously defined comb at such a young age, and is WAY behind in feathering for a 4 week old. Extreme slow feathering is a red light for rooster. You can see how far behind he is in comparison with your EE and Orpingtom pullets.

The brahma does kind of act like a guard. It is constantly peeping and when it sees anyone it started peeping really loud and runs and the other follow suit. Hopefully if it does end out as a he, it is the only one.

The LB looks like it could be a roo, the rest look like girls.
