Hi.. Newby here. I joined just so I could ask this... But have always enjoyed reading this forum.
I have searched all over the internet for photos or stories of RIRs crossed with sebrights, and came up empty.

Has anyone ever successfully crossed a standard Rooster with a bantam hen and had babies? (Pics of the adults would be great if you feel like sharing.)

I have 2 sebrights. I have seen my RIR rooster mate with both of them. And when we eat their eggs I have seen bullseyes.

Last Friday my Silver sebright decided she was going to go broody. She is currently sitting on a nest of 9 eggs.
(She's my first broody.)

I'm wondering if they will actually develop and hatch. I'm really excited about this.

Be careful with that large of a rooster mating with that small of a hen. It is possible for him to hurt her.

I don't know what a RIRxSebright would look like, but I hatched a SebrightxBlack Australorp in July. The rooster was a the Sebright and hen Australorp.

Do you have pictures?

I know he could hurt them. They all live together, so it's kinda unavoidable.

Here ya go

If they produce any roosters, they will have some degree of hen-feathering. And this guy was only 2 months old and already bigger than his daddy!

The ARE tough! I hope they hatch. I can't wait to see what they look like. I will be sure to come back and post pics when they do.
We are on day # 15 right now.
