RIR Girl?

I'm hoping my RIR chick here is a girl? She and my other RIR look younger than their age though i got them April 6 from the feed store when they were a few days old so they should be around 5 1/2 weeks now. Not sure why they aren't developing as quickly as the other RIR's I see in these threads.

Hehe, that's a fuzzy head for a 5.5 week old chick

But sure looks like a girl to me. Different strains will feather out a bit different, and I've found that chicks I raise early spring vs mid summer feather faster. Maybe that chilly air encourages them to pump out feathers. LOL
