RIR hen is sneezing and making a WEIRD noise HELP!!

I am scared. I noticed her around noon opening her mouth and making a gurgling noise and she was still doing it this evening and acting like she did not have energy like the others Oh and sneezing too so I moved her into a kennel and bought duramycin-10 and have it in there with chick feed since it is easier to eat. Is there anything else I can do for her? This is my first flock and she is one of my favorites. Do you think I need to give her more or a different antibiotic?

You can give her Tylan50. It's geared for upper respiratory illness. Dose is large birds 1/2 cc small birds 1/4 cc it's given once a day for 5 to days into the breast muscle. I perfer injectable antibotics as compared to water soluble because dose is much more consistent with injectable and not continent on amount drank like water soluble is. When the bird is ill they tend to not drink or eat as much and dosing with water soluble is relied solely on what they drink. So in my opnion dosing with injectable is more consistent. Also with injectable it gets into the blood stream faster. You can get the Tylan 50 and syringes at the feed store usually. Many poultry owners including myself have been successful using tylan50. So if your looking to switch up her antibotic Tylan 50 would be a good choice. Hope this helps and wish you the best.

Update:
I was able to find Tylan 50 and injected it about an hour ago.

I am happy that her breathing seems fine. There is swelling around her right eye. I have let her out for only short periods.

She really likes the oatmeal I have mixed in water. I just did not have time to cook it before having to leave.

How many days do I give the antibiotic?
