RIR not laying

I have an EE and RIR that are roughly 26 weeks old and are not laying. They are in a mixed flock and are the oldest by a few months. They are in a run and are being fed an 18% protein starter feed, I put some oyster shell in the run in a separate bowl to see if that would help but still now eggs.

As the day light period increases, they will eventually lay. The RIR looks close to laying.

Oyster shell only helps supplement their calcium supply so they will lay eggs with nice hard shells. It will not help them to lay sooner.

Honestly, I wouldn’t go through all that. Let their bodies work it out naturally. Nature knows best

At this point in the season probably won't make a difference... days are slowly starting to lengthen, so by the time the light made a difference, the daylight could be close to catching up.

Also EEs can be slow to start laying. They're not, as a whole, considered prolific layers.
