I am away in college, and my chickens are currently living with my grandparents. My grandma sent me an e-mail yesterday saying that my RIR pullet layed her first egg! My grandpa was so excited!
I feel so proud!

Congratulations! It is very exciting to get the 1st egg. Sorry you are not there yourself. Hopefully they will send you a picture of it.
