RIR - Pullet or Roo - ~4 months old - pics this time!

So maybe this is the wrong place to ask, but if I DO decide to keep him, could I get some good chicks out of it, even though my rooster is a different breed thnt my hens? Other than potentially some ugly chickens and of course more roosters, are there downsides to that I'm not considering?
I think I'm too soft to eat him. This is why I have a 16 year old cat that I don't even like.

Depends on what else you have. RIR and NHR roos are used to breed with other breeds to get sex-linked chicks. That would be very handy.
 
I have a Buff Oprington, a Ameracuna, and a Barred Rock. Which would you breed him with? Or are all those bad ideas?
He's just so pretty, I hate to give him up. And I'm zoned to keep him.

I have a Black Sex-Link pullet named Tina Turner. Her head and neck is orangish yellow. Looks like she's wearing a Tina Turner wig.
