RIR? Roo?

I went to the chicken swap today to get roo for my 6 RSL pullets. I wasn't too breed concerned but wanted some thing close to what they look like. I met a nice man and woman with a small farm. After talking to them and telling them what I was looking for, she gave me a roo for free. I was told he was a 6 week old rir from breeder stock the got in south carolina two years ago. They have hatched and sold them before. To me it doesn't look like a pure rir but I could be wrong. I think its a roo also but anted to know what everyone else thinks

Well, it is a young rooster. As far as quality or if it's really a rhode island red vs any other red bird, I'm going to let those with more experience with breeder stock chime in, esp this young.
