RIR Rooster or Hen

Hello -

Since I have yet to see them lay an egg and one or both of them may be crowing. Please help me tell if these are hens or roosters. They are both about 4.5 months old (18weeks)

I'm not an expert, but I think that #1 looks Pullet(wattles are kinda big, though) and #2 Cockeral... No guarantee, mind you.

NUMBER 2 Is a Rooster............ no doubt about it

Both are roosters. The first one is just a tad bit immature compared to the second one.

if you look at the feathers around the neck and the long pointy ones on the back...... I would say that they are BOTH ROOSTERS

They are both roosters because I see pointy neck and saddle feathers on both of them.

The TOP one doesn't look much like RIR to me. Too scrawny looking (a RIR is a dual puprose breed) and too orange-y colored but it could be my immagination or the camera or just mixed breeding.
