RIR rooster or hen?

Could be; I'm very new to the chicken thing. I'm just comparing ours and they look very different.

Abecca's bird was giving me a complex!!!

I was about to go in the coop and give the girls a pep (peep) talk!!!!

Nancy, do you give them whiskey too?
Maybe it's stunting their growth?

oh wow, there is a difference. They do see. To have similar tail feathers, though.

I'll try the Graham crackers tonight!

I have tried broccoli but they buried it!!!
I also tried bean sprouts and they ate a few of them but they buried those as well.
I guess poo tastes better then bean sprouts!!!
Chicken taste is in (or on) their feet!!!

Do you cook the broccoli before you give it to them?

I put all the vege scraps in the water part of my steamer when I do our veges. Broccoli , cauliflower , brussel sprouts, cabbage and carrot tops. Strain them and put them in the chook bucket for the next day. They never leave a scerick.

From the pic it looks like your bird's tail is much longer and iridescent feathers.
Maybe someone with more knowledge will help out. Or you will hear a crow or see an egg!

I will try steaming some veg for them and see if they take this.
It could also have been an age thing, I haven't tried giving them anything like broccoli in a few weeks.
