RIR rooster x black sexlink hens?

I just bought 2 hens that were supposed to be australorp but look more like sexlink to me. I also wanted a rooster so i could get eggs to hatch. the only one he had available was a nice rir. i'm happy with my purchase but heres my question. What will the offspring turn out like? anyone done this before?

If you cross your black sex-link hens and a Rhode Island Red rooster what you should get is black chicks. As they get older they might start getting some red showing through..

According to the Chicken Calculator, you can get Black or Red Columbian chicks. I have no experience with this cross, though.
