RIR Show quality hen?

I dont know how Aussie standards differ. Maybe you could find a RIR breeders club site online and see. THere are sanctioned shows and there are smaller local shows, like county fairs, etc. In a sanctioned show, he probably wouldnt do that well, but mind you, I really cant see the body in your pics, just his color and head. Maybe someone else can help us out who knows more than I do.

The show quality RIRs have a BRICK body and they are beautiful. As for the hatchery bred birds, they look more like Red Leghorn shaped or badly shaped brick body and wrong color.

Enjoy them, they are excellent egg layers!

so chances r cuz hes a hatchery 1 hell more like be not really too showy? thats cool tho...i love him just the way he is and i think hes handsome...just thot others would like him but if hes not showy then im happy to keep him all to myself...oh and the hennys can perv on him too if they soo wish

My neighbor breeds bantam RIRs. They are so dark and beautiful! I tried to raise some from him, but they didn't do to well... They were beautiful though!
