RIR tempermant

I have 2 orphingtons 2 RhodeIsland Reds and 1 Australorp. I am very new to chickens.
From what I have read the orphinngton are suppose to be sweet, but I find that the
Reds are nicer. I started with 2 australorps, but one was a rooster. I found him a home where
he will get to be a rooster.

The RIR seem to be the sweetest. Is this their nature?

So very new to this, but I already love them!

RIR tend to be aggressive...not saying they can't be sweet! Mine are....

Really my RIR DO NOT want me to touch them, pick them up, or go anywhere near them. My BO and Barred Rocks hop up and sit on my lap.

I picked up mu first birds this weekend 7 RI Reds.
They are still very afraid of my.
I am going to try and spend a bunch of time with them and get them to relax.

One of my RIR hens and the roo are very sweet, one other hen is okay, she will let me pick her up and the other hates me. The hen and roo that like me will run up and beg to be held, so I don't know. I think it probably depends on the individual.

I have 5.. 2 hens 3 roos (not by choice) and they're ok now, but th breed can be aggresive. It usually shows up after they're 1 yr old.

Thanks for the info on the RIR. How about the australorp? She seems the bossiest. Is it because the rooster was an australorp?
