Now that Goldie is 6 1/2 weeks old, here are more pictures. He now has ear tufts - does that mean he's really an EE instead of a RIR?

Thanks,
Barb

Thanks!

Here are his feet.

They came from a hatching of eggs from a local farm, but I wasn't the person who hatched the eggs and I don't know how to contact the farmer to find out any additional information.

Thanks!
Barb

OK thanks. I don't mind a mutt bird, LOL. He is so friendly and always wants to be around me. Preferably roosting on my arm or trying to get up on my shoulder (he's already too big to fit there). Or better yet, on top of my head but I don't allow that. He knows his name and comes when I call him, even when I've let him free range a few feet away from me. :)

I just hope he doesn't turn mean once the hormones hit...

He's a mixed breed cockerel. He may have some EE heritage, but with that straight comb I wouldn't expect to breed him and get offspring that lay colored eggs.
