RIR with no TAIL!? *PIC*

I got her from privette hatchery, I dont know why but she doesnt have a tail and no sign of it growing in... She looks like a football that have legs!!!

Shes the one on the bottom right, the half cut off barred rock is the mommy, she adopted these babies

will it ever grow? why did this happen?

If there's a small lump of flesh [the uropygium] at the end of her spine she will eventually grow a tail.
If not she is rump-less which is a genetic anomaly for this breed.

Hahaha...I'd name her Pigskin LOL!!!

I've noticed that alot of Leghorn chickens seem to be missing the coccyx as well. (Bones for the tail.)
