RIR?

I’ve heard production red... NH red... and RIR... the lil ones are about 12 weeks old. What breed do you think? The hen is 21 weeks old and also what breed do you think? She was purchased as a RIR.

Lol... that’s a breed I’ve never even heard of. Now I have to look it up.., the older chicken is laying nice brown eggs... I just wondered what they really might be.

I just looked those turn into nice looking adults birds. They were supposed to be RIR pulleys but I don’t remember my older girl being so light in color.

I'm not sure they're all the same breed/hybrid. In the first photo, the one to the right looks like a Production Red (Rhode Island Red x New Hampshire) pullet. The one in the front looks like a hatchery quality Rhode Island Red but it may be a Production Red too. The one in the back does look like it could be a Calico Princess. Your older pullet looks like a RIR!

Interesting... The three younger ones are “supposed” to be the same but the one in the middle has always looked different... got feathers later has always been lighter in color and has curls in her tail.
