how are the breed Rhode island reds they are great layers
are they friendly?
put pictures because i have never actually seen a pretty Rhode island red except for chicks

I don't currently have any RIRs in my flock, but I've had them in the past, and they are a cold hardy breed that are excellent layers. As far as temperament goes, mine were somewhat variable and occasionally aggressive (especially the roosters). This seems to mostly be problem with hatchery grade stock, those RIRs from a reliable breeder that meet APA standards are normally docile and friendly. The chickens in the pic below are Rhode Island Reds.
